Day 1: Fes → Midelt → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
Depart around 08:00, travel through Ifrane ('Moroccan Switzerland'), Azrou cedar forest (watch wild Barbary macaques), and Midelt. Proceed along Ziz Valley's palm groves to reach Merzouga.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert Experience
Morning fossil-hunting tour and visit to Khamlia for traditional Gnawa music. Afternoon camel ride into Erg Chebbi dunes, sunset over golden sands, dinner and desert music at camp.
Day 3: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Optional sunrise camel trek, travel through Rissani (date market), Erfoud, and Todra Gorge for scenic canyon walks. Continue to Dades Valley for the night.
Day 4: Dades Valley → Skoura Oasis → Aït Benhaddou → Marrakech
Morning drive along 'Valley of Roses' and Skoura Oasis, visit Ouarzazate film studios and UNESCO site of Aït Benhaddou. Cross High Atlas via Tizi‑n‑Tichka pass to end in Marrakech.
